Establishment and milestones in growth

Navodaya Vidyalaya is a dream of late Prime Minister Mr. Rajiv Gandhi and keeping it in the view Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Tuljapur is Striving hard to give the quality education to the students predominantly from rural areas. The Vidyalaya was setup in the year 1986in the temporary building handed over to the institution by Tuljabhavani Mandir Trust.


The School was strewn up I different places of the town at its initial state. In spite of the adverse circumstances the school has maintained its rising graph in academics and at present acquired the prestigious position in district. The School has given the bench mark result for 10th and 12th class and a number of aluminis are learning different high profile courses and have brought the laurel to the Vidyalaya. Besides most of aluminis have occupied administrative post in Indian civil services well as   some of them are now in abroad perusing there challenging career of life.

In the year 1996 the school was shifted to permanent campus in the area of 30 acres land having academic block, including Principal chamber, VP chamber, MI room, Office, Sport room, Class rooms, 4 Labs, Library and junior computer lab. Beside there are eight buildings in the campus with 2 mess hall, boys dormitory, girls dormitory and staff quarters. A small MP hall is under construction which was founded by local MLC Mr. Diliprao ji Deshmukh and 2 dormitories, one for boys and other for girls are under construction. The Specious playground with 400 Meters track, Basketball ground handball ground, KHo – Kho and kabaddi ground are the remarkable assets of Vidyalaya. The School also has undertaken the beautification of the campus by planting 500 different kinds of trees.
